Here we go. We’ve made it to the end of another season of The 100. Season five’s finale, “Damocles: Part 2” had its ups and downs, and opened doors to a brand new world for the show. Join Brittany and Sarah as they talk about the merits and failures of this episode in particular, plus their overall feelings on season five and where the show might take us next

The penultimate episode of season five of The 100, “Damocles: Part 1”, actually broke Sarah and Brittany. We are broken, and the pieces we have left are all spent up breaking down the ways in which this episode amazed us. Callbacks are engineered brilliantly, revelations abound, and alliances are reinstated. What more can we say? We loved it.

Ah, “The Dark Year.” In season 5 episode 11 of The 100 we finally get confirmation for a season-long theory…. no spoilers. Seriously though, there’s a lot to talk about, and Sarah and Brittany take their sweet, delicious time to break down this juicy episode.

This is it, the final showdown between two major characters on The 100: Octavia vs. Blodreina!! In episode 5x10, “The Warriors Will," Octavia does battle with her scariest opponent yet—herself. Brittany and Sarah dig deep into the psychology of this controversial character and the sequence of events she sets into motion.

It’s been a minute since this episode aired...Due to scheduling conflicts we’re posting this podcast very late, so apologies! Episode 5x09, "Sic Semper Tyrannis," was a brutal, heartwrenching episide, so maybe some temporal distance was for the best for Brittany and Sarah to talk about this objectively. Tune in to judge if we’re able to maintain objectivity or epically fail.

Episode 5x08, “How We Get to Peace,” FINALLY gives us something that Brittany and Sarah have been waiting for since season 1 (*no spoilers*). There is so much to unpack in this episode, but it’s clear that getting to peace requires sacrifices, some more costly than others.

Things are unravelling faster and faster in The 100’ episode 5x07, “Acceptable Losses." With the threat of biological warfare looming over the whole episode—and more callbacks than Brittany and Sarah can count—this episode proves once again that this show doesn’t forget its own history while taking major steps forward for this season!

In The 100 episode 5x06, “Exit Wounds," Brittany and Sarah discover that despite its long run, this show still has a few tricks up its sleeve. There are plot twists(!), old friendships are tested while new bonds are forged, and we have never been more fearful of this show’s willingness to kill off major characters than we are right now. No one is safe.

SO many things to unearth—literally—in The 100 episode 5x05, "Shifting Sands." There are parasitic bugs, serial killers, and possibly…cannibalism? Join Sarah and Brittany as they theorize aplenty and fangirl over all the ships, both old and new alike.
